Snowshoeing on beside Keechelus Lake
Topographical Map of the trip generated with my GPS and MapSource
Today was our second snowshoeing adventure. The group who went out today was Cody, Jon, Nuria, Jill, and myself. (I apologize for not having a picture of me yet, but others took pictures and when I get one, I will go back and add it. Note: It will probably be the time I fell down the hill, so it should be humorous as well)
We went back to the Keechelus Lake Snow Park for the hike but we went a different path this time. This way took us to the earthen dam, which we walked on for just over half a mile. The entire round trip was three miles.
Once we got on the earthen dam, Cody convinced this cross-country skier that she could make it strait down the dam. She almost did but took a good face plant at the bottom. Here is the picture of the poor woman who trusted Cody (hopefully for the last time).
The weather was beautiful and warmer than last week. All in all it was a good workout.
This week, I am trying something new. I downloaded some software to make a panoramic view by piecing together pictures. I have it one of two ways.
Here are some pictures from the trip:
