Rattlesnake Ledge

I have not been hiking in a while. I have been spending most of my leisure time skiing. I am getting married in less than a month so I decided to stop skiing for the winter. Wih both Jaymie and Leila hurting their knees skiing, I did not want to risk being in a cast for the wedding

The hike I decided to do was Rattlesnake Mountain. It is pretty much as long as you want. Th first two mile take you to Rattlesnake ledge and then there is a 9 or 10 mile hike on Rattlesnake Mountain. I figured I would go until snow prevented me from going further.

I hit snow before Rattlesnake ledge. With all the traffic to the ledge, the trail was no problem. Past the ledge, there is much much less traffic. The trail was pretty icy and I had some issues hiking. I decided to stop at the third ledge. It has nice vistas.

There was already a person at this ledge and we talked for several minutes. I, therefore, forgot to take pictures. Here is what I have near the first ledge.
